Spelling Bee

Next week sees the return of Chaucer Junior School's annual spelling bee.

Children in Year 6 will be tested on the statutory words for this term, which can be found below.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, they will be tested individually and receive housepoints for their efforts.

On Thursday, there will be a class spell off, where a class representative will be chosen to participate in the Whole School Spell Off on Friday.

If children wish to take part in the Thursday and Friday spell offs, they should also try to learn other words on the statutory list.
