Fond Farewells
After presenting a number of awards during this morning's Leavers' Assembly, we made an emotional farewell to our wonderful Year 6 pupils this afternoon. The other clases formed a guard of honour to line their route out of school. We wish all the departing children every success as they move on to pastures new and we look forward to hearing great things of them in the future.
The school would also like to say goodbye and thankyou to Mr Fletcher for his hard work this year.

Well, good-bye Chaucer Junior School. All year 6 have had a fantastic time for 4 years. I may have has ups and downs in year 6, but I got where I needed to be. And I really thought Kieran deserved to be Pupil Of The Year. I mean, who else could be? He's a smart boy, who needed to be awarded. I kept crying for the whole day, because I'm so emotinal to leave :( But I will miss every student and teacher, mostly the people who are going to a different school (E.G Kirk Hallam; Benaly; Etc) and, I nearly have everyones number in year 6 (Like, Taila; Chloe K; Kieran; Maisie; Morgan etc.) So, we're still in contact. I will wish all new year 3's and others a happy new year in their classes. Good-bye....Chaucer :'(
