Week 6 at Forest School

Clay faces and wooden pendants...

Today was our final Forest School session this term :( Miss Singleton, Mrs Broadhurst and Mrs Bradley have had a fantastic time and hope the children have too!

Miss Singleton had put together the bunting from last week and it looked great!

This week started off by thinking back through our time at Forest School and saying all the words that we associate with it e.g. happy, insects, bug hotels etc. We had some lovely ideas. We also had another go at the ball game name game.

Our job today was to build a face on a tree, using clay and materials we could find on the forest floor for its features. First we had to pat the clay onto a tree.

The finished results looked fab!

Connor and La'shae were very helpful giving everybody a glass of juice.

After snack time we decorated wooden pendents and attached string so that we could wear them.

Miss Singleton asked us to write what we thought about Forest Schools.
