Relay Challenge Result

Chaucer's Relay Challenge Team had a fun but exhausting time at Rutland Sports Park this afternoon.

Chaucer's Relay Challenge Team had a fun but exhausting time at Rutland Sports Park this afternoon. Aiming to complete 5000m in the fastest possible time, Chaucer achieved a time of 16 minutes and 33 seconds in their first attempt. Following a couple of substitutions and a quick game of dodgeball the team produced another good run of 16 minutes and 39 seconds.

Very consistent and determined efforts, and to put them into context, these times were over 2 minutes faster than what the children managed in a run through on the school field last week!

To see how these times compare to the other schools taking part in the World Relay Challenge please visit Eveque's competition centre leaderboard. For a map showing the geographical distributions of participating schools please click here.
