Table Tennis Competition

For the first time, we decided to split the group into 2 seperate competitions - one for Y3/4 and another for Y5/6 (and over!).

As the half-term is coming to an end, Group 1 of Table Tennis Club enjoyed its end of cycle competitions last week.

For the first time, we decided to split the group into 2 seperate competitions - one for Y3/4 and another for Y5/6 (and over!). Consequently, we were treated to closer matches and less handicapping.

In the Y3/4 round-robin event, Emily Hopkins came out on top, winning all of her 3 matches. Ryan Derbyshire finished 2nd, winning 2 out of 3. In the older age group, Mrs Wheatly once again showed her class, finishing top of a difficult group before overcoming Oliver Wheeldon in the grand finale.

The group would also like to thank Miss Oldnall for gaining some badminton equipment, which we have been able to use alongside the table tennis. The kids have made great use of its addition.
