To celebrate 'Earth Day' in the Chaucer school garden we have planted some Seedballs from The Seedball Company

Today is all about making the environment a better place to be, so we have planted some wildlife seeds, but they are in the shape of clay balls. We were very kindly sent them free of charge from the 'Seedball Company' to plant today. The balls have a hint of chilli powder in them, the idea being to keep at bay ants and slugs. In the ball form they are also said to be easier to grow. It was lots of fun planting them though, and hopefully we'll get lots of wildflowers
