Harvest Time

There is always an air of excitement when it's time to reap the rewards from the school garden

Harvest time is always an exciting time, looking in the garden to see what crops we have been successful with. As people who garden know, all growing is trial and error. Nothing is guaranteed. So when you do manage to grow something that resembles a fruit or vegetable, you feel very proud indeed. It doesn't matter how big or small, nor even perfect, they are still your very own crops

So we are very proud to show you some of ours!

Over the past few months we have been growing various fruit and vegetables including: Potatoes, Onions, Shallots, Courgettes, Beetroot, Peppers, Strawberries, Raspberries and various coloured Tomatoes. These include Red, black and yellow ones

As always we had lots of fun!
