In the event of any school closures, learning still remains our priority and we will endeavour to do our best to keep this happening.

Please find more details within this blog post.

Below is a list of tasks we’d like your child to be completing at home during any school closure and ask that you support us with this.

Children should have brought home a Home Learning Resource Pack which covers various areas of maths, reading, spelling and grammar. These are also attached below. If you would like to help your child with these, then we have also attached guidance and answers.

If there are any questions whilst working through the pack, then we encourage you to ask, via SeeSaw, and we will do our best to help.

Children can also access their Times Tables Rockstars account and should practise this regularly (at least 20 games per week).

Daily Reading – 10 minutes a day (signed in organiser).

Children can continue to access spelling shed using their logins in their organisers.

Please continue to work through your homework project grid. These can be found in organisers and on the Year 3 Blog. Work can be recorded in your book or uploaded to SeeSaw if you would rather.

Even if you are stuck indoors, we recommend you keep your SHED in order and remain active. Try the following channels for workouts or design your own:

  • Cosmic Yoga
  • Joe Wick’s School Workouts
  • Go Noodle
  • Kidz Bop

Extra resources can be accessed here: using the free parent access.

Remember to upload any work you complete on your SeeSaw page so we can see what you have been up to and help where we can :) If you haven’t already, download the CLASS Seesaw app and setup your home learning Seesaw code which has also been sent home.

 Thanks for your support,

Mr Smith and Miss Richards
