Dragon's Den-Style Enterprise
Children have been put into teams and will be given an initial £5 investment by the school - and then use their own ideas to make as much profit as possible.
Year 6 are currently in the process of planning their final Enterprise Project. But this time, they're going to do it slightly differently.
Children have been put into teams and will be given an initial £5 investment by the school - and then use their own ideas to make as much profit as possible. The team that raises the most money will win a prize while all proceeds will be donated to the "Make a Difference" charity.
On 21st June, teams will perform a Dragon's Den style "pitch"; putting their ideas to a board of local business people, governors and school staff. The board will be able to invest extra money in the teams that they feel are most professional and have produced the best business plan. Children will be encouraged to bring smart "interview clothes" to make the experience as realistic as possible.
On 29th June, parents are invited to an Enterpise Fayre from 2pm til 3pm. At this event, parents will be able to invest in their child's team or any other team that impresses them! There will also be a raffle. (When the event finishes, you will be able to take your child and any siblings home at 3pm.)
We hope you will be able to support this endeavour.
