Our curriculum is ambitious for all learners, giving them the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in future learning and life.
“Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand.”
We are very proud of our curriculum at Chaucer and have recently been working hard to ensure we have full coverage to engage all children that come to Chaucer Junior School and encourage them to become lifelong learners .
The children have an input into what they learn and the content changes to reflect the children's current interests. We endeavour to make the curriculum as stimulating and interesting as possible for our children. We enrich the daily curriculum through trips and visits, by inviting guests into school and by having special themed days and weeks.
