Bennerley Viaduct Visit, Glow Day, Miss Coltman's Class
Today was the second of our Bennerley Viaduct #resilience walks. This time it was the turn of Miss Coltman's class to enjoy the outdoors for their 'Glow Day'. All the children were amazing, enjoying the green spaces before making it up on to the top. We then read some facts about the viaduct before meeting one of the rangers who looks after it. He then showed us the dent which was made to the side of the viaduct by a Zeppelin bombing raid during WW1. After enjoying snacks we then returned across the canal where our friends at Canal Vue Care Home were waving to us as we went past. Such a lovely afternoon enjoyed by everyone.
