Bennerley Viaduct Visit, Glow Day, Mrs Watson's Class
This week was the turn of Mrs Watson's class to enjoy their 'Glow Day' walk to Bennerley Viaduct. We had a lovely walk across the Erewash canal enjoying the green spaces. When we arrived at the ramp entrance to the viaduct we were met by one of the volunteers who had helped place a new signage board for the public to read with information on. It's a great, new addition to welcome visitors to the site. We then made our way onto the viaduct were the children and Mrs Watson read some interesting facts before we enjoyed the view and walked a bit further across. It was another great afternoon enjoyed by all.
