Forest Schools, Mammoths. Sept. 2026

It was Mammoths first time in Forest Schools, they were a joyous bunch and enjoyed their mindful breathing techniques. The children were brilliant at our game of Beetle Tag, racing to rescue in teams, the stranded beetles. Our Find your Family mini beast game was enjoyed by all. Then we played some trust / communication games with a blindfolded partner which was great to see.

Our final part was foraging for autumnal leaves to make a Greek vase. Mammoths requested Forest Schools every week. Big thank you to Mrs Harasymiw, Mrs Henshaw and Mrs Hall, and the great weather too. Nothing beats an afternoon outside!
