Forest Schools, Mr Smiths Class
The weather held out for us at #ForestSchools. Penguin class would have embraced the rain regardless with their amazing resilience. After our mindful breathing techniques we warmed up with a game of Chaos, this is a game where you find out who your true friends are!!! We divided into circles and tried the team building juggling balls challenge, which proved difficult, but each team overcame the challenge. Using honey and foraged leaves the Year 6's creatively made a tree collage, spelling kind - this terms core value. Then we went 'Old School', the children threaded their conker and went into battle, such focus and genuine competitiveness. A fabulous session, great children and adults. We rounded the session off with Bear, Mosquito and Salmon.
