Forest Schools, April 1st
Glorious sunny session today where we introduced the talking stick, which Mrs Wheatley loved. The children confidently spoke to the group, then had a mindful moment appreciating the budding of the trees. Hammocks were up, cafe established from this confident group. Our game of ladders was great, and all the children were very encouraging towards each other. Chaucer's mud pie bake off began, looking for the smoothest consistancy and decorated with daisies and leaves. Unfortunately Miss Oldnall spent a lot of time as an egg in our 2nd game where the aim was to become a king. This involved galloping and dualing with rock, paper, scissors. Great to see such great sporting behaviour from all. After the bake off judging, the children were cooperating together in our rope circle trust game, a very successful circle! Thank you to Miss Cundy-Clifton for her help today. Another lovely afternoon.
