Forest School children getting into the festive spirit, sporting reindeer antlers they set off, taking their conkers rolling artwork with them. The walk along the canal was amusing with every child telling a Christmas joke to win a chocolate coin. Once in Canal Vue Care Home the children made us so proud, showing great core values especially kindness, one team put up the artwork, which the residents look at daily, whilst the others danced and played percussion instruments with the guest singer. The children joined in singing 'Last Christmas' and the residents seemed very pleased to see the children. A huge thank you to Mrs Wheatley for getting us all invited and to Natalie for the refreshments and as always making us feel so welcome. What a fabulous community link we have with Canal Vue.
