Forest Schools, Miss Coltman's Class
Orcas were an absolute pleasure at #forestschools, they embraced every activity with such enthusiasm. We had our mindful moment then played 'Predators and Prey'. After that the classic game of 'Chaos', which was great fun. We did a carousel of 3 activities, Jamie on the Viking Kubb game with Leah, lots of precision throwing required. Mrs Wheatley was so impressed with the creativity on her activities, as the children were making memory pictures from their time at Chaucer using foraged resources, they made, caves, camels, pyramids, ziplines and a fishing net. Whilst I was on the teamwork session conducting rope challenges, the resilience rope and the tug of war, the determination on some of their faces were priceless. All the children gave the session 10/10 and promised they would reduce their screen time and spend more of the summer outside in green spaces. The session couldn't end without a race down the track. Great effort from everyone.
