Forest Schools, Jan 28th
A wintry session with such a positive group, to cheer Mrs Wheatley up as she was feeling under the weather, we all donned waterproof trousers in anticipation of rain. The group had their mindful moment, worked cooperatively (this terms core value) on the stick challenge. Next we played crows and cranes then went into the woods to make apple bird feeders for Mrs Wheatley's annual RSPB Big Schools Birdwatch. Two girls ran the Forest School's cafe and served up a delicious hot chocolate whilst suggestions were being made how to make them luxurious! The Billy Kettle was lit, the children played Fox & Hounds, we finished off with a game of Tyre Duck, Duck Goose. Thank you once again to Miss Cundy-Clifton for her help.
