Forest Schools: Mrs Johnson's Class
This week was the turn of Mrs Johnson's class to enjoy their forest schools session. Great weather for us which made a lovely change to previous weeks. The children started with some mindfulness with Miss Oldnall and then moved on to some active games. The main activity today was making some eco friendly necklaces, which were made from elder tree branches, cut and hollowed out to make beads to thread onto the necklace. Lots of enthusiasm shown by Jaguars today. The refreshments of the day were some of the 'Grow Your Own Potatoes' which had been very kindly cooked for us by Mrs Ward in the school kitchen. Thank you Mrs Ward, they were delicious! Washed down with some juice, another great afternoon enjoying the outdoors. Thank you also to Mrs Footitt and Mr Smith for their help too.
