What is the Embark Award?

The Embark Award is part of the trust’s commitment to the wider offer for our children. It comprises of 100 activities for children to complete during their entire time within their primary school years and it is based around the trust’s 4 core beliefs: Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success.

These activities encourage family learning at home as well as numerous activities that will be provided within school. If your child completes any of the activities on the attached lists at home, please record this on Seesaw with photos or any other evidence and, when we review the challenges achieved periodically with the children, they will be able to mark them off in their own individual record. Teachers will be making a separate Seesaw folder for any Embark Award posts to go into.

Children will work towards their Bronze Award (40 activities), Silver Award (60 Activities) and finally their Gold Award (90 Activities).

We therefore ask you to keep these lists of activities safe and try to tick off as many as you can with your child or children during their time at Chaucer Junior School. Don’t worry if they do get lost, as a link for the list of activities can be found below.
