Chaucer's 1st Fun Community Afternoon
A brilliant first community fun afternoon at Chaucer Junior School. It was organised by Mrs Starling and Mrs Farrell and also involved Chaucer Infant School too. A big thank you to everyone who came, including school governor and Cllr. James Dawson. Thank you also to everyone involved with the organised events, which included designing with StreetSide Liam Parkside, healthy eating with Faye from Morrisons, bulb planting with Mrs Faulks and Mrs Bradley and art therapy with Danielle. I would personally like to thank Shipley Garden Centre once again for donating our spring bulbs to be planted today. It was lovely to also visit Chaucer Infant School where the forest schools activities were taking place for the event with Mrs Muggleton, Mrs Wojtania and Mrs Melbourne. We even had a visit from Walter the Wellbeing Owl. A wonderful afternoon which we hope everyone enjoyed! #Community
