Forest Schools, April 22nd
Gorgeous afternoon with our final session for this forest schools group. The children work so collaboratively as a team, they support, empathise and are more motivated to keep trying when things get hard. We played secret agents, where the agents hiding surpassed all expectations. Team spirits were high along with self belief during our capture the flag game. As today was #WorldEarthDay we needed to do something to support the planet so we made a bee home out of recycled tin, canes and sticks cut to size by the children. Our final game was Sardines and then we all reflected on the things we'd enjoyed and would take away from being at forest schools, mainly enjoying nature, being outside and working on our emotional intelligence. Huge thank you to Mrs Wheatley today and our special visitors who joined us with great zest.
