Visit From Mayor Kate & Royal British Legion
A lovely morning welcoming some special visitors. We welcomed the Mayor of Erewash Borough Council Cllr. Kate Fennelly, Councillor James Dawson, and from the Royal British Legion, Ilkeston Branch Paul Scott and Dr. Barry Patterson. The children were lucky enough to enjoy a Q&A session with them. After this we enjoyed the end of week assembly, during this Rosie and Archie each received a special Erewash Borough Council badge from Mayor Kate for doing such an excellent job yesterday doing the reading at the #DDay Remembrance Service on Ilkeston marketplace. Thoroughly deserved and well done to them both. Thank you so much for visiting us. Another great morning at Chaucer.
