Forest Schools, Jan 7th 2025
Resilience levels were high as we wrapped up for the cold weather. We had our mindful moment, then set up a den in case the freezing rain came again. Great cooperation as usual, pallets moved, tarpaulin tied up and then the children's imagination was great. A scavenger hunt soon warmed the children up, along with a game of camouflage. We set the children off on a mission to create the best mud pie, points were awarded for decoration too, some children embraced the mud. Around the Billy kettle children used flint and steel to create a fire to boil our water for their hot chocolate. A great time had by all and some very understanding parents as some children were very muddy. What a fabulous bunch of children!
