A Festive Visit To Canal Vue Care Home
It was an honour and a privilege to walk down to see our friends at Canal Vue Care Home with Miss Oldnall, Mrs Smith and her class this week. The children sang Christmas songs to the residents whilst they played along with percussion instruments. They then gave the Christmas cards out which they had made for every resident of the care home. Then we enjoyed some Christmas activities. Thank you to Naomi and all the staff at Canal Vue for making us feel so welcome. Thank you also goes to Miss Oldnall's mum who played her guitar and entertained us all. It was also lovely to personally deliver Donald's Birthday card to him, who'll be an incredible 109 years old on Christmas Eve.
To spread a little Christmas cheer in this way means everything to us, and I think the smiles and all the enjoyment from everyone says it all really and to me, is what life is all about, sharing love and kindness.
