Forest Schools, Miss Mee's Class
Today was the turn of Miss Mee's class to enjoy their #forestschools session. We started with a mindful moment, followed by a game of reverse hide and seek (Sardines). The children were then transformed into squirrels gathering nuts ready for the winter in their teams. The children were shown how to do lashings, to tie two sticks together for the birds to perch on for their apple and sunflower seed feeders. Hunters and survivors was a real hit, the children were destined to be cast away on an island if they were caught by the hunters before they could reach their raft. Mrs Whittaker had the most amazing animal faces which the children had decided true or false before having to run. Jaguar's were great at forest schools today and embraced everything and scored it 10/10.
