DDay 80th Anniversary Display
As most of you know over the past number of years I like to create a display in our beloved school garden which captures a national theme. Well this year is no exception, I knew we had to create something to commemorate #DDay80, the 80th Anniversary of DDay. I'd like to thank all the children and staff who contributed towards the display for this very important time in history. I've also included the 'Dig For Victory' campaign which was another integral part of WWII. I had to include 'Potato Pete' who was also part of the campaign, and in memory of my late dad. We're growing potatoes this year in all of our raised beds, these were part of a staple diet during the war. We hope you all like it!
