Bulbs4Kids is a brilliant Dutch initiative to get children to grow and have fun with flower bulbs and run by the organisation ibulb.

We have been part of their initiative for the past number of years. We are sent a growing kit with 600 bulbs, plant labels, trowels and growing books.

They also run a Golden Bulb competition for the best display in Spring. We are very proud to have won this for England a couple of years ago. The competition is global and bulbs are sent to Germany, France, Canada, Sweden and of course England.

We have planted some of this years bulbs in are school garden with the help of Gardener Steve. Steve also appears on Erewash Sound radio and he very kindly did a socially distanced interview for us which was on the radio on Saturday. We would like to thank Steve for coming to help us.

We look forward to watching the bulbs grow over winter and waiting for them to bloom in the spring :)
